EPAC Board Minutes - September 11, 2023

1. Call to Order

President Will McGrew called the September 11, 2023 meeting of the EPAC board to order.

2. Roll Call

Vice President Jesse Billiot called roll. Board members present were:

Angel Ledet

Georgie Ferguson

3. Approve minutes of the board meeting

• July 31, 2023

• August 14, 2023

• September 11, 2023

On the Motion of Jade Bergeron seconded by Angel Ledet the board Approved and accepted the minutes of the École Pointe-au-Chien board meetings.

4. Review of the board obligation and required disclosures

• Ethics training must be completed by the end of the 2023 year.

• Status update, Jade, Will, Dawn have completed the training. Jesse and Valerie will complete.

• Tier 2.1 disclosure.

• Due May 15, 2023 Donald Dardar still needs to complete this Will is going to help Mr. Donald complete this.

5. Discussion of the Budget

• FY 22-23

• FY 23-24

• The bank account is now set up with Mr. Donald, Will McGrew, Caitlin Orgeron as authorized signers.

• The account now has access the to the non-profit funds

• In the process of setting up the LA.gov Account

• Ethan is working with fourth sector

6. Hiring and Personal services

Positions Still needed

• Secretary

• Bus driver

• Food service

The board has decided to discuss at a later date.

7. Discussion of renovation to the provisional building.

• Vision Christian Center

• K.C hall the security will be put up this week.

• October 5, 2023 the school will aired on PBS at 7:45pm

• Contact Terrebonne Parish to get the keys to the Pointe-au-Chien building.

8. Adjourn

On the motion of Will McGrew and seconded by Caitlin Orgeron the meeting of the EPAC board is concluded. The next meeting of the board will be held at the Houma Main library at 6pm on the night of October 9, 2023
